<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion apparatus provided with a signal conversion means for using a maintenance signal for remote operation of the combustion apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A repeating device 80 inserted between a combustion apparatus 20 and a remote control 70 is provided with signal conversion means 87, 88, 89.
