PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CRT display device which can reliably present a gap between the peripheral edge of an opening window part of a front cabinet and an image display face of a CRT display tube without hindering miniaturization of the front cabinet, simplification of a structure, and reduction of costs or the like, and also to provide the front cabinet for the CRT display device. SOLUTION: The positional relation between a lever rib 104 and pressing plate member holding parts 105a, 105b is set so that a pressing plate member 106 is inserted in between a face to which the pressing plate member 106 is pressed at the lever rib 104 and the face to hold the pressing plate member 106 at the pressing plate member holding parts 105a, 105b. The device is set so that the edge 116 on the opening window part 101 side of the window frame part 102 on the base side is pressed to the front face of the CRT display tube 300 by inserting the pressing plate member 106 between the faces.
