PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor having a high joining strength of a terminal pin and a bonding wire, and superior in durability, and a manufacturing method thereof, in the pressure sensor having the terminal pin molded by press working. SOLUTION: This pressure sensor has a connector housing having a pressure receiving surface provided with the terminal pin 10 and a pressure sensitive element mutually electrically connected by the bonding wire, a sensor housing having a seal diaphragm, and a pressure chamber formed between the sensor housing and the connector housing by fitting the connector housing in the sensor housing, and houses the pressure sensitive element in the pressure chamber. The bonding wire is joined to an electroless plating film 16 of a surface in a projecting part 11 for arranging an electrolytic nickel plating film 15 and the electroless nickel plating film 16 in a layer shape.
