[Class 132 (iii).] A shuttlecock has a flanged cap a fitted over the upper part of the body c, the cap being apertured to receive the stems b of the usual feathers, and the flange a<1> being continuous and formed integral with the cap. The body c is of cork and either partly or wholly fills the usual rubber or other base d. The part of the base shown empty may be loosely filled with cotton wool or other material. |
