Linear actuator control device comprises the following: a linear actuator (5), the stroke of which is increased or reduced by a drive signal applied to its solenoid; a sensor (45) for measuring the actuator stroke; and a setting device (10) for a physical target value for the actuator stroke, whereby at least a proportional amplification factor is determined from an integral and a differential amplification factor in order to determine a return value based on the difference between the actual physical value and the target value.
