Shock absorber comprises a hollow cylinder made from a polyisocyanate polyaddition product. It has a height of 132 - 135 mm and an outer diameter of 57 - 60mm with a lip at the end. The central bore (i) has a diameter of 11.5 - 12 mm and the damper has 2 -10 studs (xx) at the same height on its outer surface. An independent claim is included for a car fitted with shock absorbers as described above.
