Novel phosphoric amide esters of pyrimidine - prepn

Novel phosphoric amide esters of pyrimidine prepn. Compds. of formula:- (where R1 and R2 are 1-4C alkyl; R3 and R4 are H or 1-4C alkyl) are prepd. by reacting the corresp. phosphoroamido cpd. with the appropriate pyrimidine in the presence of acid acceptors or toluene. Specif. cpds. are o-(2-dimethylamino-4-methyl-pyrimidyl-6) and o-methyl-N-methylphosphoroamidate, o-(2-diethylamino-4-methyl-pyrimidyl-6) and o-methyl-N-ethyl-phosphoroamidate etc. Cpds. have insecticidal, acaricidal and ovicidal activity.
