<p>The invention concerns a package shelf system wherein each lateral shelf (8) comprises, proximate its front inner angle (18), an extension (19) extending transversely inwards beneath the central shelf (7) and bearing a pivotable member (20) adapted to co-operate with a complementary coaxial pivotable member (21) fixed beneath the central shelf (7) and pivotably mounted about an axis (10) common to both pivotable members (20, 21) substantially perpendicular to the upper surface (11) of the central shelf (7) and arranged such that each lateral shelf (8), in pivoted position, is stowed substantially beneath the central shelf (7). The system (6) further comprises means for controlling the pivoting of each lateral shelf (8) relative to the central shelf during the pivoting movement of said central shelf (7).</p> |
