Blended polymer membranes for treating aqueous fluids comprising a first hydrophobic and a second hydrophilic component, filters including the membranes, and methods of treating aqueous fluids such as source water to remove contaminants to a desired level of purification by directing the wate r through the membranes, are disclosed.
