The first step (S1) involves manufacture of all the door components. The second step (S2) involves fastening a temporary reinforcement frame to the skin of the door. The door frame is then assembled (Z1) and all functional components are fitted (Z2). While the door frame is being completed, the door skin is fitted to the car body (A1) for painting (A2). The door skin is removed from the body (A3) and united with the finished door frame (A4). The completed door is then permanently fitted to the car body (A5).
