An integrated connection (100) for a manhole (104) having a wall opening (116) defining a peripheral surface (118) and a ring shaped elastomeric body (202) cast in place on the peripheral surface. The elastomeric body includes a foot region (320) cast within the wall thickness of the manhole and connected to a leg region (318). The leg region terminates in a primary sealing surface (304). A reinforcing element (324) passes through the ring shaped elastomeric body at one circumferential location which, when viewed in cross section, appears below the peripheral surface of the wall opening once the gasket is cast in place.
