<p>The present invention concerns a method and a device for arranging optical fibres or optical fibre cables in a network or system of piping units. In order to facilitate the handling of several optical fibres or optical fibre cables the piping units (1) have been given a rod-like shape with an essentially square cross-section and with preferably optimally arranged longitudinal parallel cavities (2). Thanks to the rod-like shape of the piping units and their square cross-section several units can be arranged parallel to each other, forming one piping body in which a much greater number of optical fibres or optical fibre cables can be placed than if a circular cross-section were to be used to form a composite body, with the additional advantage that there are no gaps between the different piping units in the piping body due to the aforesaid square cross-section.</p> |
