Method for dialogue controlled use of electronic media, especially Internet based media, in which a computer program is used to control a process that is based on a user's or profile and takes account of the current state of his transactions or account. Thus the program evaluates user input or selections and automatically generates responses based on them and the user profile and current account or transactions state. Independent claims are also included for the following:- (a) a data processing arrangement; (b) a computer program product; (c) and computer readable storage media for dialogue controlled use of electronic media.
