<p>Tapes of an ethylene-olefin-copolymer are wound from the insulation of one cable end over the bared conductor ends, which are joined by a soldered conductive sleeve, up to the insulation of the other cable end. After vulcanisation or polymerisation the whole is sheathed in epoxy resin. The adhesion of epoxy resin can be improved by a cyanoacrylnitrile adhesive over the insulation ends.</p> |
