Pressure measurement unit has a housing (12) with a membrane (14), an indicator mechanism (20) and an indicator (22). The membrane is configured so that it is deformed by an applied pressure and causes the indicator mechanism to deflect the indicator accordingly. Between the indicator mechanism and the membrane is a circlip (18). An Independent claim is included for an indicator mechanism.
