Setting information on a plurality of display devices connected to a computer preferably including at least one of information on the number of colors, resolution, and synchronous frequency, information on the power management function and/or screen saver function, and information on which one is made a primary display device is stored as profiles. By selecting a profile so as to simultaneously perform various settings on the plurality of display devices, it is possible to easily set and switch between display functions.
