ROLLER ARRANGING METHOD OF WIRE ROD COOLING APPARATUS FOR UNIFORMLY COOLING WIRE ROD

PURPOSE: A method for uniformly cooling wire rod by cooling wire rod having high temperature by changing straight line linear speed of respective rollers for forming a conveyor of Stelmor cooling facility by which the wire rod is transferred is provided. CONSTITUTION: In a method for arranging rollers of wire rod cooling apparatus for uniformed cooling the coiled hot rolled wire rod after hot rolling wire rod and coiling the hot rolled wire rod, the roller arranging method of the wire rod cooling apparatus comprises the processes of grouping the some of the first rollers and second roller by arranging some of the first rollers and one of the second rollers in a width direction of the rollers, and continuously arranging a plurality of the groups in a width direction of the rollers in a conveyor comprising a plurality of first rollers which are continuously arranged in a width direction to transfer the wire rod, and at one side end of which sprockets having the same size as the plurality of first rollers are installed so that the plurality of first rollers are driven to an equal straight line linear speed; and second rollers which are continuously arranged in a width direction to transfer the wire rod, and at one side end of which sprockets having large diameter and more number of teeth compared to the sprockets of the first rollers are installed so that the second rollers are driven to a straight line linear speed different from the first rollers.
