PURPOSE: An optical engine system of an LCD projector is provided to maintain the uniformity of the light and control easily the light by providing a structure of a reflective mirror, an FEL lens, a PBS(Polarizing Beam Splitter), a condensing lens, and a rod lens. CONSTITUTION: An optical engine system of an LCD projector includes alight source(10), a PBS array(36), a condensing lens(37), a rod lens(39), a color separation/synthesis portion(110), and a projection lens portion(95). The PBS array(36) is used for correcting and polarizing the output light of the light source(10). The condensing lens(37) is used for condensing the output light of the PBS array(36). The rod lens(39) is used for maintaining the brightness of output light of the condensing lens(37). The color separation/synthesis portion(110) receives the output light of the rod lens(39). The projection lens portion(95) projects the output images of the color separation/synthesis portion(110).
