PURPOSE: Provided is an alarm to inform change time for a rope of a safety belt which predicts the life span of the safety belt to inform change time so that it prevents users from being falling down in working at a high place. CONSTITUTION: The alarm to inform change time for the rope(14) of the safety belt comprises the parts of: an electric wire(16) which is twisted with the rope to detect the time when the rope is extended over the safety range; a detection part(20) which detects a brittle state of the twisted electric wire; a control part(24) which receives the detection signal for the brittle state from the detection part to generate an alarm control signal; an oscillation part(26) which generates a lamp switch control signal by the alarm control signal from the control part; and a display part(28) which receives the lamp switch control signal from the oscillation part to switch the lamp.
