Diaromatic compounds modulating inorganic ion receptors and pharmaceutical preparations in which they are comprised

Disclosed are diaromatic compounds, for example the compounds of the general formula I, in which R denotes a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; m and n represent independently on each other an integer of 0 to 5; each X group is independently on each other a halomethyl group or a haloalkoxy group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms and each Z group is independently on each other an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms. These compounds are capable to modulate one or several activities of receptors for inorganic ions. Further disclosed is the use of the above compounds for the preparation of medicaments intended for treating diseases and disorders of activity modulation of receptors for inorganic ions. Preferably, such compounds can mimic or block the effect of extra cellular Cae2+ on calcium receptors.
