PURPOSE: A battery pack in which an IC chip can be installed is provided to enable an IC chip to be inserted into or ejected from a CDMA mobile terminal without the necessity of modifying the inside of the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack(100) in which an IC chip can be installed consists of a lower case(110), a battery cell(120), a PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(130), a connector(140), an upper case(150), a palette(160), an IC chip(170), an other material prevention part(180), and insulators(191-193). The lower case(110) is composed of a lower side part(111) and a lateral side part(112). which form a mounting groove(113) as the internal space. The battery cell(120), of which the external surface is insulated by insulators(191,192), is mounted in the inside of the mounting groove(113). The PCB(130), fixed to the lateral side part(112), is installed parallel with the upper surface of the battery cell(120). The connector(140) electrically connects between the PCB(130) and the IC chip(170) mounted at the palette(160). The upper case(150) is composed of an upper side part(151), a lateral side part(152), and an aperture part. On the palette(160), a mounting groove(161) is formed so that the IC chip(170) can be installed. The other material prevention part(180), composed so as to form a small groove at the top of the lateral side part(112), forms the entrance of the aperture part.
