DEFLECTION YOKE FOR CATHODE RAY TUBE AND COLOR CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: A deflection yoke and a color cathode ray tube are provided to effectively reduce the amount of magnetic field being leaked toward the screen of the cathode ray tube. CONSTITUTION: A color cathode ray tube comprises a panel having an inner surface on which a phosphor screen is formed; a funnel coupled to the rear surface of the panel; a shadow mask arranged in rear of the screen; an electron gun for emitting an electron beam; and a deflection yoke for deflecting, in horizontal and vertical directions, the electron beam emitted from the electron gun. The radius of the inner surface of the screen side end of a ferrite core(34 or 34a) of the deflection yoke ranges 50 to 85% of the radius of the inner surface of the screen side end of a horizontal deflection coil(31 or 31a).
