PURPOSE: An apparatus for sensing an opening/shutting state of a window is provided to sense and show the opening state of the window by installing a proximity switch at the window and operating a lighting device according to the opening state of the window. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for sensing an opening/shutting state of a window includes a plurality of proximity switches(10-13), a central control portion(60), a plurality of lighting portions(30-33), and a speaker(50). The proximity switches(10-13) are used for sensing an opening state of the window. The central control portion(60) is electrically connected to the proximity switches(10-13). The central control portion(60) includes a main switch to control operations of the proximity switches(10-13). The lighting portions(30-33) shows visually the opening state of the window. The speaker(50) is used for outputting the alarm sound when the opening state of the window is sensed by the proximity switches(10-13).
