PURPOSE: A three dimensional pointing system is provided to install plural light sources on a large sized screen, to adjust a direction and a position of a camera directing toward the large sized screen for changing a position of captured light sources on an image, and to move a position of a pointer by processing the image. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a screen, a camera(40), and an image processor(80). The screen is separated into plural areas. Plural area light sources of different sizes are installed on the separated areas, and plural point light sources(23, 23') are installed on sides of the screen. The camera(40) captures the light sources of the screen by using an image sensor while it changes an image capturing position and direction according to an operation of a user. The image processor(80) analyses the area of a pointer by using the captured image of the light sources, processes the light sources on the sides of the screen, and calculates a three dimensional position coordinate and a rotary angle. |
