APPARATUS FOR INSERTING CATHODE OF BOBBIN TYPE LITHIUM BATTERY AND METHOD FOR INSERTING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An apparatus for inserting a cathode of bobbin type lithium battery is provided to minimize the frictional force between a separator membrane in a battery case and the cathode and to reduce the inferior products caused by the damage of the separator membrane. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for inserting a cathode into the inside of the battery case comprises: an upper spindle(200) having a cathode compressing part(210) in the form of a cylinder which compresses the cathode(50) downwardly and a carrier compressing part(220) which compresses a carrier(340) downwardly; a table(300) in which a cathode carrier is disposed on the top surface, an upper slider which can be bonded to a lower slider by a horizontal elastic bonding bolt(350) is disposed at the bottom of the cathode carrier and a compressing jig is mounted between the upper and the lower sliders; a compressing jig(310) in which a rib is formed at one side, a sloped surface is formed at the upper end edge and a first lateral bolt hole is formed at the other side; an upper slider(320) in which an upper projection is formed at the center of the bottom surface, a supporting member having a square section is formed at the one side of the bottom surface and an upper bolt hole is formed at one side; an upper projection in which an upper hole-through passed by the cathode(50) is formed at the central axis of the upper slider(320) and a sloped surface is formed at the edge; a lower slider(330) having a lower projection equipped with an internal sloped part, a lower bolt hole and a second lateral bolt hole; a cathode carrier(340) in the form of a cylinder disposed at the top of the table(330); a lower spindle(400) supporting the battery case(10); and a cell carrier(410) disposed on the upper part of the lower spindle(400).
