PURPOSE: A phosphor paste composition is provided to obtain a fluorescent layer for a plasma display panel having excellent charge capacity, increased discharge voltage and stable discharge property. CONSTITUTION: The phosphor paste composition comprises ethyl cellulose and (meth)acrylic resin in the mixing ratio of 20:80 to 80:20. The mixed organic binder consisting of ethyl cellulose and (meth)acrylic resin is contained in the amount of 6-10 wt% based on the total weight of the composition. The phosphor paste composition is prepared by the method comprising the steps of: (a) dissolving the mixed organic binder into a mixed organic solvent containing butylcarbitol acetate and terpineol to form a vehicle; (b) adding a phosphor to the vehicle and stirring the mixture; and (c) kneading the phosphor-added vehicle. |
