<p>PURPOSE: A contact media for the attached-growth of microorganisms for sewage/wastewater treatment is provided, which can remove residual BOD and SS in wastewater, and has an effect of sterilization and deodorization. CONSTITUTION: The contact media is manufactured by mixing 2 to 37 wt.% chitosan, 5 to 40 wt.% bio ceramic, 3 to 38 wt.% activated carbon, 55 to 90 wt.% naphthalene; compression extruding the mixture at a pressure of 1 kg/cm¬2. The contact media is injected into sterilization tank in an amount of 0.5 to 2 wt.%, based on 1000 kg·wastewater/hr.</p> |
