PURPOSE: A ball valve is provided to smoothly perform the opening/closing operation of a valve ball, and to prevent the leakage of water by improving the support structure of the valve ball. CONSTITUTION: In a ball valve, a stem-side elastically compressing unit is installed between a bolt(60) coupled with a stem housing(52) and a flange(58a) in a stem(58). A couple of upper/lower uneven couplings(64,66) are located between the flange and the bottom of the stem housing, and are coupled by a concave part(64a) and a convex part(66a). Rubber packings are interposed between the upper uneven coupling(64) and the flange, and the lower uneven coupling(66) and the bottom of the stem housing, and have protruding lines, respectively.
