PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescence display and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce the thickness of the panel of the organic electroluminescence display, while achieving improved resistance against an impact. CONSTITUTION: An organic electroluminescence display comprises a transparent anode electrode(21) formed on a glass substrate(20); an insulation film(22) formed on the transparent anode electrode, and which has an aperture(50) for exposure of the transparent anode electrode; an auxiliary electrode(23) surrounding the aperture, and which is formed on the insulation film; an organic layer(24) formed on the transparent anode electrode exposed through the aperture; a cathode electrode(25) covering a certain part of the auxiliary electrode, and which is formed on the organic layer; and a passivation layer(26) covering the anode electrode, insulation film, auxiliary electrode and the cathode electrode, and which is formed on the glass substrate.
