<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a user by delivering an article stored in a locker to a desired locker or place by an easy procedure and simple system. <P>SOLUTION: The delivery system includes a plurality of the lockers, a controlling center, a delivery agent, and a user terminal. A plurality of the lockers, the controlling center and the user terminal are connected through a communication line. The user obtains information of a delivery destination from the controlling center in advance, appoints the delivery destination with a prescribed operating means or the user terminal, and sends the information to the controlling center. The controlling center instructs the delivery agent to deliver the article from the locker to the destination on the basis of the information of the delivery destination appointed with the operating means or the user terminal. On the basis of the instruction, the delivery agent collects the article from the locker, in which the article is stored, with a transportation means, and delivers the article to the delivery destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
