<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which enables reverse reproduction of animation images while maintaining the effect of decreasing the amount of data to be stored into a memory means for reproducing animation. <P>SOLUTION: The memory means 83A containing a performance control means 101A and an extensive reproduction means 89A which reproduces the animation by encoding the compression data, coded under the prediction of the compensation for motions, stored in the memory means 83A separately stores the compression data on a plurality of coded images used for the reproduction of animation images during the specified period and the compression data on a plurality of coded images used for the reverse reproduction of animation images.
