<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force distribution control device for a four-wheel drive vehicle capable of enhancing maneuvability and stability of a vehicle behavior. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of kinds ofΔN torque characteristic map Ml, Mm, Ms having different driving force characteristics against a differential revolution numberΔN are prepared and theΔN torque characteristic map applied are mutually switched between the respectiveΔN torque characteristic maps Ml, Mm, Ms based on a throttle openingθ. A torque (driving force) transmitted to a front wheel side or a rear wheel side is determined based on the appliedΔN torque characteristic map and a solenoid clutch mechanism of the driving force transmission device is controlled such that this torque is transmitted to a front wheel side or a rear wheel side.
