<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a battery exhaustion during parking due to leaving an operation switch turned on, without using an alarm or causing inconvenience to occur due to the power supply being cut off. <P>SOLUTION: An engine ECU 13 determines whether the engine is in a stopped state or not according to output signals from such as a crank angle sensor 17 for detecting the rotational speed of the engine, and a body ECU 14 determines whether the vehicle is in use or not according to output signals such as a door lock sensor 32 for detecting the locking of the door. If it is determined that the engine is in a stopped state by the engine ECU 13 and determined that the vehicle is not in use, the device determines the vehicle to be in a normal parking state and turns off the contact of a power cut-off circuit 12, cutting off the power supply to a head lamp 19, a small lamp 20, a tail lamp 21, a number plate lamp 22, a turn signal lamp 23, a room lamp 24, windshield and rear window wipers 25 and 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
