PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely guide a steering column to the front of a vehicle forward by smoothly disengaging it from a bracket. SOLUTION: A spacer 16 is interposed between a vehicle body side bracket and the steering column, inserted and retained by a supporting pin 21, and is locked on either of the brackets. A pin inserting hole 19 is formed on the spacer for inserting the supporting pin, around which an impact-breaking portion 19a is formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
