PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interdental brush with wires so strong in folding endurance that they can never be sharply bent or broken at the joint of the wires when the interdental brush is inserted into an interdental part even between back teeth as well as between front teeth. SOLUTION: This interdental brush comprises a brush part 4 consisting of twisted wires 5 and a plurality of filaments put between them, and a handle part 1 made of a thermoplastic resin, both of which are integrated through the base end of the twisted wires 5 being implanted in the handle part 1. The exposed joint portion of the twisted wires 5 just next to the implanting part of the handle 1 is covered with an approximately cylindrical protective element 7 made of a thermoplastic resin which is 0.1 to 0.5 mm thick and 1 to 5 mm long. Consequently, even when a large force is imposed on the joint of the twisted wires 5, this protective element 7 absorbs the force by bending together with the wires, thus relaxing the stress.
