摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently regenerate a vehicle motion energy by a motor generator while carrying out shift down in order to avoid an engine stall at the time of restarting during speed-reduction of the vehicle accompanying with fuel cut. <P>SOLUTION: A clutch capable of continuously changing a slide ratio is interposed between the engine, the motor generator and an automatic transmission of a stage. When the revolution number of the clutch at a driven side is reduced to a predetermined revolution number of lower limit during speed-reduction of the vehicle, the shift down of the automatic transmission is carried out (S101, S103). A tightening rate of the clutch is changed/controlled such that the revolution number of the engine during speed-reduction of the vehicle is maintained to the revolution number of lower limit (S103, S105). The motor generator is regenerated/controlled corresponding to the tightening rate of this clutch (S108). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
