PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod effective for suppressing main line troubles and having excellent operability. SOLUTION: A line-introducing guide 10 for first guiding a fishing line from a reel is attached to the circumference of the butt section rod of the fishing rod. The line-introducing guide 10 has a main body 11 having a through-hole 11a extending in axial direction, a rubber tube 14 connected to the through-hole 11a of the main body 11 and extending toward the butt section and a guide ring 15 fixed to the butt-side edge of the rubber tube 14.
