<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sublimation ribbon with a protective layer in which the protective layer having good adhesive properties on all kinds of bodies to be transferred, being easily releasable from a substrate without providing a release layer, having a good transparency influencing no effect on visibility of an image, and in addition, excellent in protection of the image, can be formed. <P>SOLUTION: In the sublimation ribbon with the protective layer which has a region for the protective layer for forming the protective layer by transferring it on the image formed on an image receiving body, this region for the protective layer is provided with a transparent protective layer comprising a styrene/ acrylic copolymer resin on the substrate and in addition, provided with a heat- sensitive adhesive layer comprising an acrylic resin and a wax on this transparent protective layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
