PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus which can maintain a filter without stopping operation and prevent the lowering of the treatment condition of garbage. SOLUTION: In the garbage treatment apparatus which reduces the weight of charged garbage, a dust removing duct part 63 is set between an intermediate duct 62 located upstream from an exhaust fan 66 and a duct 67, a main filter 64 for removing dust in exhaust gas from a treatment tank is set attachably/ detachably in an exhaust gas introduction part 63a in the dust removing duct part 63, and a sub-filter 65 is set attachably/detachably in an outlet part 63b located downstream from the main filter 64.
