<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the adhesion between an ink receiving layer and a support, eliminate coating defects of the ink receiving layer and further obtain a higher quality appearance and lustrous feeling. <P>SOLUTION: In an inkjet recording body having one or more ink receiving layers on a support, an undercoating layer including at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a polyolefin-based polymer, α-olefin-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer and a polyester-based copolymer on the support and, at the same time, an aqueous paint including an electron beam curing component forming a hydrogel through irradiation of an aqueous solution with the electron beam is applied to the ink receiving layer in contact with the undercoating layer and then the resultant applied layer is made to hydrogel through the irradiation with the electron beam and dried so as to finish the ink receiving layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
