<p>A muscle builder weight pad is provided, for example for wearing over the shin or forearm in order to enable a wearer to build up muscle strength by walking, running or otherwise exercising with the weight pad strapped on in place. The weight pad comprises: a cushion pad (2); a rigid shell (3) over the cushion pad (2); one or more rigid pocket casings (6a) supported on the rigid shell (1), for retaining a weight (9); and one or more straps (5) attached to the weight pad and provided with fastening means (4), for retaining the weight pad in place against a wearer's limb. The weight pad is useful for increasing muscle strength of, for example, biceps, thighs, calves, and may be used, for example, in sports rehabilitation, physiotherapy and weight training.</p> |
