LIGHT EMITTING ELEMENT ARRAY CHIP, OPTICALLY WRITING HEAD AND METHOD FOR DRIVING OPTICALLY WRITING HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element array chip capable of adjusting the average light output.

SOLUTION: In a self scanning type light emitting element array, one bit memory elements to be electrically written/erased externally 200a, 200b, 200c, 200d are integrated. Data terminals X1 for the memory elements 200a, 200b are connected with a ϕ1 line 111, and data terminals X1 for the memory elements 200c, 200d are connected with a ϕ2 line 112. Data terminals X2 for the memory elements 200a, 200c are connected with a data 1, and data terminals X2 for the memory elements 200b, 200d are connected with a data 2. An input terminal Y for each memory element is connected with a ϕI line 110 via resistances Ra, Rb, Rc, Rd, and a power source terminal VS is connected with a VGA line 113.
