APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FORMING RADIATION IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost and space-saving radiation image forming apparatus for forming a two-dimensional or three-dimensional tomographic image having a high quality by utilizing a CR (Computed Radiography) technique.

SOLUTION: In a radiation image forming system 100, a controller 10 controls a radiation source 20, a radiographic apparatus 30 and a turntable 33 to photograph the sinogram of a patient M. When sinogram image data are read by a radiation reader 40 and inputted to the controller 10, the controller 10 transmits the inputted image data to an image processor 50 connected via a network N and requests reconstitution of the two-dimensional or three- dimensional tomographic image. The image processor 50 reconstitutes the two-dimensional or three-dimensional tomographic image from the image data inputted from the controller 10 and transmits the resultant image to the controller 10.
