PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a crusher which efficiently performs a crushing operation by efficiently supplying a medium such as water to an object intended for crushing, and a crusher. SOLUTION: This electrode has a center electrode 3 and an outer peripheral electrode 6 positioned opposite to each other through an insulator 4 and generates a discharge in the medium. In addition, the electrode 1 is equipped with an electrolyte flow path for the medium to pass through, an electrolyte introduction part 7 as a medium supply means, and an electrolyte supply hole 17 as a medium discharge means. The electrolyte flow path is formed between the outer peripheral electrode 6 and the insulator 4. The electrolyte introduction part 7 supplies the medium such as water to the electrolyte flow path.
