PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified hollow fiber membrane which does not cause an increase in eluting material, etc., has a little interaction between the membrane surface of hollow fiber and biocomponents, does not adsorb protein and hardly causes deterioration, is excellent in biocompatibility, and can adsorb and trap foreign materials such as endotoxins reversely flowing from the outside of the hollow fiber by a film thickness part. SOLUTION: The hollow fiber membrane mainly comprising a polysulfone polymer contains a copolymer of a vinyl polymerizable monomer having a zwitter-ion in the molecule, such as betaine, ammonium phosphate, and sulfobetaine, in the inner surface, and another vinyl polymerizable monomer.
