PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a method for administering nutrient matter which obviates the occurrence of a difference in nutrient states between animals and prevents the attainment of low nutrient states by feed intake defect. SOLUTION: The method for administering the nutrient matter to the non-human animal through a catheter indwelt in a vein comprising fixing the catheter by means of an appliance led outside the body from the tail area of the non-human animal and mounted near a leading-out region and the method for evaluating the matter utilizing this method are provided.
