PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a ceramic, whereby a fine space such as a microreactor channel can be relatively accurately formed in the inside of a ceramic sinter by a simple process not needing core removal before sintering. SOLUTION: The method is the one for forming the desired internal space by forming a core in a molding comprising a ceramic powder and allowing the core to lose during the firing of the molding, wherein the core used is metallic molybdenum which is oxidized in an oxidizing atmosphere at a temperature lower than the sintering temperature of the ceramic powder and gives a volatile oxidation product.
