PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide efficient and inexpensive and easy-to-maintain conveyor equipment and sorting machine using the same. SOLUTION: This conveyor equipment has slat members, and the free-end portion of the slat member remains contacting the external periphery of a slat shaft next to the slat member when the slat member is positioned on outward route within the upper linear orbit, and the free-end portion is reversed using the slat shaft as a turning center and dropped downward, an area between the adjacent slat shafts is released within the lower linear orbit when the slat shaft goes through the position of a second sprocket.
