PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely mount a weather strip on an opening edge of a door or a trunk room with a simple operation of just inserting a clip, as well as to reduce the weight of the weather strip by removing a core metal from a mounting part to be inserted into a flange. SOLUTION: A first clip means comprises an insertion part 32 made of polypropylene formed in a substantially U-shaped cross section, a hook part 33 integrally formed with a leg 32a of the insertion part 32, and a lip 34 elastically attaching to a flange 26 when inserted into the flange 26. The first clip means is pushed into a mounting part 21 of the weather strip A at appropriate intervals. The hook part 33 is fitted onto a leg part 21a of the mounting part 21. A clip 38 is inserted and fitted into an inserting hole 39 formed on a base part 22 of the mounting part 21 of the weather strip A. The clip 38 is then inserted and fitted into a mounting hole 40 formed on a panel 30 on the edge of the opening of the trunk room. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
