PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire 1 for a motorcycle having both of excellent turning stability and riding comfortableness. SOLUTION: This tire 1 is provided with a tread part 3, a side wall part 5, a bead part 7, a carcass part 9, a band part 11 and an inner liner 13. The band part 11 is made of a sheet of band ply 27, The band ply 27 is formed by a circumferential winding of a ribbon. The ribbon is made of a band cord extended in the longitudinal direction and topping rubber coating the band cord. A constant load elongation percentage of the band cord is gradually increased toward an end part F from an axial direction center C. An axial direction distance from the center C and the constant load elongation percentage of the band cord are approximated to a three or more dimensional function. A ratio (Tf/Tm) of a torsion ratio Tm at an intermediate point M and a torsion ratio Tf at the end part F is≤0.95. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
